How Do You know If Hypno-Parenting is Right For You?

If you ever felt angry, frustrated, overwhelmed with uncontrolled emotions over yourself because you repeatedly overreact in front of your children, then hypno-parenting is the solution you need in your life.
Hypno-parenting was designed to help you with day to day parenthood, but it’s never been as important as it is at this moment. So many of us are overwhelmed and overreact instead of responding to any situation we have in our parenthood life. But what if I told you it doesn’t have to be like that?
A Hypno-parenting style is a unique approach, bringing together the best of neuroscience, hypnotherapy and psychotherapy. It will help you regain control of your parenting life, and provide you with the support to be the parent you want to be.

Here are the 5 ways to undersatnd the hypno-parenting approach.

Hypnosis and parenting is a natural combination
“We can solve conflicts in a wonderful, peaceful way that creates not just good children, but helps them grow into good adults.” This is a quote from a hypnotist and mother of three Lisa Machenberg, who first made this statement public on ABC Media. She also told Barcroft Media, that “If we learn hypno-parenting, we learn how to hypnotise our children to be cooperative, peaceful, have containment and have good study habits because they have focus and have more resilience out there in the world.”
The power of imaginative play
Most parents realize that their young children struggle with differentiating between reality and fantasy. There is a reason why Selma Fraiberg entitled her book about children from birth to age 6, The Magic Years. These are the years of magical thinking and a child’s mind can be easily manipulated when parents engage in trans-inducing behaviours.
When I have taught this to parents, they are often shocked, dismayed and uncomfortable with the idea that they actually may have been inadvertently hypnotizing their children when they engage in what they now are learning are trans-inducing behaviours. They have viewed some of these behaviours as ways to get kids’ attention and make a deep impression on them about the importance of something. They were surprised to learn that sometimes the messages are coming in at a much deeper level, making an imprint in a child’s mind in ways that messages transmitted more casually do not.
The power parents have to place their children “under their spell” is not a new idea.
Does anybody have time to waste these days? The fact of the matter is life can be hectic and people are busy. Wasting time going around in circles, trying to reach your goals, will only take up more of your precious time than you have to give. Working with a life coach will save you time by helping you find solutions faster and by keeping you on your path so that you can get to where you’re going as quickly as possible.
Hypo-parenting might become a new wave of the future, but it is important to know it’s been around since parents first started to use trans-inducing behaviours in order to have a deeper influence on their children—whether it be healthy, positive injunctions or those that are less healthy and even toxic.

Being aware of the powers you have as a parent to hypnotize your children is an important awareness. Parents can become more intentional about transmitting positive, healthy injunctions whenever they induce trance. Examples:

“Mary Jane, I need you to listen very carefully. You are capable of thinking before you act. You can be in charge of your behaviours!”
“William, look me right in the eye and listen very carefully. You are never to get in a car with someone who has been drinking or drugging even if they say they are okay. Do you hear me? Never!”

Free your children from the need for your approval
As parents, it’s vital for us to understand that as long as our children are in touch with their deepest self, with its boundless resources, they will motivate themselves beyond anything we could ever imagine.

How can parents put this lesson into action? Besides abandoning the idea that your child needs to do certain things (including having “good” behaviour and high marks, and even meeting expectations around eating and sleeping), you can regularly let them know how accepted and appreciated they are simply for being themselves.

Have an open mind to conscious and positive parenting
Conscious parenting concepts are rooted in ancient Eastern beliefs, as well as Western psychology. According to Tsabary, to be “conscious” or mindful is to be aware—so we can identify the difference between reacting to our children from our egos and from the calmer, centred state of who we truly are. It’s all about the ability to be in the moment in any situation that arises. And when it comes to living in the present, she says, our children are gurus who can awaken us to be real, giving us the gift of self-awareness, self-expression and deep self-belief.
On the other hand, positive parenting is the continual relationship of a parent(s) and a child or children that includes caring, teaching, leading, communicating, and providing for the needs of a child consistently and unconditionally.
How I became a Positive Conscious Parent?

Hypno-Parenting has changed my perspective to Motherhood

Parenting has become an important part of my life from the moment I gave birth to my boy in 2015. I strongly believe that no one prepares us for becoming parents until we become ones. Back forward, during these unique and life challenging 5 years of parenting, everything shifted and changed to some extend, sometimes even to the extent of 360 degrees, but, I learned so much about myself and my little boy at the same time. There is so much to learn, still, but, I guess, we are all learning about parenting along our own parenthood journeys.

From the moment I became a parent, I consciously started to expand my knowledge in parenting, using different resources, including books and online programs. Nowadays, we are fortunate enough to have plenty of resources available at our fingertips, just with a click of a button.

Through this exponential process of learning about parenting programs along my motherhood journey, it was difficult to choose one program over another, simply because all of them had specific knowledge of different resources.

Before even discovering hypnosis, I learned and applied the majority of parenting tools available online. I could say without a shadow of a doubt that both Conscious Parenting and Positive Parenting Solutions, and later Hypno-Parenting, shifted my perception about parenting in general, especially when it comes to handling challenging emotional situations, which, to my opinion, is the most important aspect of parenting.

The bottom line is that, parenting has become a significant part of my life, back in 2015, and I can firmly say that is the most rewarding and challenging experience I have ever had in my life, except for teaching English to hundreds of other children in my teaching career, before that.
It made my motherhood experience more enjoyable in a way that has almost 100% positive result. I cannot stress enough how much it saved me from having power struggles, handle emotional issues and many more. It can save you a lot of time and energy to become the best parent you can be for your own children too.
