Frequently Asked

How do I know if I actually need a coach?

Aside from my belief that everyone (including coaches!) needs a coach, give some thought to what you want to gain from coaching. Do you have an idea, goal, or dream that you keep putting off and want someone to hold you accountable? Do you feel stuck in some aspect of your work or life and want to experience a breakthrough? Do you need to build your mindset, strengthen your confidence, or develop your skills in order to reach your next pinnacle of success? Many of my clients have obtained a level of leadership where they now need an independent, objective thought partner to bounce ideas off, brainstorm solutions, and discuss best practices. Does that sound like you?

Whether you have no clue what steps to take, know what to do but aren’t doing it, or feel at the top of your game and want to maintain that, coaching can help.

What shall I expect from a coaching session?

You can expect real changes to happen to your advantage. Each week you’ll decide on the actions or goals on which you want to focus. I am going to help you to make sense of your experience and situation, create a space in which you can think in a new way. Expect to be asked challenging questions to help you move on. I would encourage you to bring your whole life, not just work, and keep you accountable. Nevertheless, I would expect you to keep the commitments you make for better progress and greater achievements.

How long does a Rapid Transformational Therapy session take?

Each session takes between 1,5 to 2 hours. For that reason, I ask you to block off 2

full hours in your calendar to make sure you don’t feel rushed. Ideally, you have some time after the session to rest and relax.

What does it feel like to be in hypnosis?

The experience feels different for everyone. Some people feel a floating sensation, others may feel deeply grounded. What most people have in common is that they feel relaxed and at ease. What’s most important to know is that how you feel isn’t an indicator of how effective the session is. There is no right or wrong way of how you experience the session. Regardless of what it feels like, it’s working on a deep, subconscious level where powerful transformation takes place.

How is coaching different to therapy and counselling?

Counselling and therapy are great remedies for your most difficult problems. If you feel dissatisfied with your life and want relief from psychological and/or physical symptoms, then therapy is a great approach to take. A therapist can help you get away from pain or discomfort. Therapy and counselling often help you to understand the past and what went wrong in order to be better in the present. Coaching focuses on the present and future. A coach guides you toward having a good direction in your life, but a therapist helps you to heal the emotional wounds and a counsellor gives you a hand when you need support.
